WILLIAM O'DOUGLAS INTERVIEWS
This week, hear two interviews with William O. Douglas (1898-1980). John Stewart conducted the first in 1967 for the John F. We'll hear from former Chief Justice Earl Warren, who led the United States Supreme Court from 1954 to 1969. This interview was conducted by Joe Frantz for the LBJ Library Oral History Project, and was recorded September 21, 1971 in Washington, DC.

TOM CLARK & THURGOOD MARSHALL
This week we'll hear from Tom Clark, Associate Justice from 1949 to 1967. Also on the program is Thurgood Marshall, Associate Justice from 1967 to 1991 and the first black justice on the Court. He was known as an advocate for the rights of minorities and the poor. Both interviews are provided by the LBJ Library in Austin, Texas.

ABE FORTAS & HARRY BLACKMUN
Today focuses on Abe Fortas and Harry Blackmun. Justice Fortas was sworn in on Oct. 4, 1965 and served for three years. Justice Blackmun was sworn in on June 9, 1970 and served for 24 years. Perhaps his most famous opinion recognized a constitutional right to abortion.
