Brookings Institution Discussion on U.S.-China Global Challenges

Deputy Secretary of State James Steinberg headlined a Brookings Institution forum on how China and the United States can cooperate to address global economic challenges, climate change issues and the potential threat of new nuclear states such as Iran and North Korea. He and three panels reviewed the history of U.S.-China relations on these key issues and discussed recent outreach efforts.
