Rep. Jim Langevin (D-RI) & Stewart Baker, Bush Admin, Fmr. DHS Asst. Sec. for Policy (2005-09)
Saturday, May 16, 2009
Rep. Jim Langevin (D-RI) and fmr. DHS official Stewart Baker give two perspectives on current efforts to protect the nation’s computer-based infrastructure. The White House completed a 60-day review of the nation’s cyber security policy and is set to release its findings which reportedly would suggest the creation of a White House office to coordinate efforts. Rep. Langevin supports White House oversight while Stewart Baker has expressed concerns about such a move.
